Day Twenty- Nine &Thirty!!!

This is the last post for the 30 day blog challenge!! I somewhat succeeded lol. There were a few days that I didn't post but overall I think I did pretty good!

Foundation foundation foundation!!! & Day 26!

So today I went to the mall with a friend and we walked past Sephora so I decided to go in. I ended up having the lady match me to a foundation. And what do you know she did it! I have been having so much troubling matching a foundation to my face. My friends always chose too dark, I always chose too light and I'm pretty sure the lady at the Clinque counter just didn't know what she was doing.
She got it on her first try! I was soooo happy, but that was only phase one. The next part was the real test, how would it react with my skin. I have really sensitive skin and bad eczema so I can't really use many products which is unfortunate. She put the foundation all over my face and told me she would give me a sample so I could test it with my skin. I walked around the store for about 10 minutes and decided to get it. If my skin didn't like it, it would have reacted very quickly. Now its about 9pm and my face is still fine which means this was a great buy!! My skin is not freaking out whatsoever! (if anything happens to change in the next few days I will update, but I HIGHLY doubt anything will as it only takes a few minutes for my skin to react to something it "doesn't like")

 So now to present to you the foundation I purchased!

This is the Instant Radiance Foundation from the SEPHORA collection in Medium 28 Camel. It was $22 and honestly I wasn't too thrilled about the price when I first saw it but as I thought about it, it's worth it. Foundation is something I can't really buy in cheap brands because of my skin so I didn't mind spending the $22 on it. It matches my skin perfect! It doesn't look like I have make up on and it doesn't cake over my eczema patches. It provides meduim to full coverage. It is oil free, non-comedogenic, fragrance free and paraben free and my skin is loving it! If you have sensitive skin I recommend giving this foundation a try.

I also purchased a new moisterizer and facial cleanser today to try out, so I will definitely be talking about those at the end of the week once I've gotten a chance to test them out. Fingers crossed they work!

Side note: I totally stopped in the middle of this blog to go to McDonalds! Haha, putting a McDonalds in my town was a bag idea! End side note!

5 years ago I was 14. So I was a sophomore in highschool. WOW!! Crazy to think back to then. Well I have changed a lot, considering I am an adult now (or as I call myself a "Half Adult") Lol. I am not as much of a people person as I used to be, I just hate people sometimes lol. I was really just your typical immature 14 year old haha, I honestly can't remember how I was hahaha. Oh well.

Wet N Wild Haul & Day Twenty One!

So last night I got rid of a BUNCH of my makeup, crazy! It had to be done! So needless to say I had to buy some new makeup to replace it all! This week at Rite Aid they have 40% off all Wet N Wild cosmetics and a $3 up reward when you spend $8 on Wet N Wild Products. I took advantage of this for sure!

Dance! I have been dancing since about 8th grade. I started with tap and have taken ballet, jazz, hiphop, lyrical,modern and pointe :) I just love dancing. I think it is great exercise and I enjoy it very much! I haven't danced since my freshmen year of college and I miss it soooo much!

P.s. This week my job has a pretty good sale on Wet n Wild makeup. I own 4 of their lipsticks and a trio so I will be buying a good bit tomorrow! So look forward to a haul and some reviews on their products!

Day Eighteen!

~ Something you crave a lot ~

Oh buddy! Well you would think this would be an easy one but I don't think it is! There's nothing that I really crave a lot. I always get random cravings of random things. A few items that I know that i've craved quite a few times is ice cream(of course!) and french fries haha. It always seems to be junk food that I crave though. I need to start craving healthy food! Hahaha. :)

NOTD & Day Seventeen!

NOTD! Nail of the day! Well technically it would be nail of the week since I change my polish every week not everyday lol! Anyway! I purchased two nail polishes this week and wanted to share them with you because I love them!

 I have been dying to get my hands on a mint colored nail polish! I saw one on eyeslipsface.com but I just didn't want to order one thing from them and with this heat I'm pretty sure my makeup would come melted! eeek! So at work the other night I came across this polish!

It is a Julie G nail polish in the color Gelato In Venice. They retail for $3.99 which isn't bad. The white is a Sinful Colors polish in Snow Me White. They retail for $1.99! Both polishs are very true to color. The color in the bottle is the color you get when you paint your nails! Which is great! I hate buying a polish and the color in the bottle is not how it comes out on your nails. One coat pretty much does the trick for both polishes. Of course you can put two, but you can definitely get away with just one. I am very happy with both the polishes! I already own tons of Sinful Colors polishes but this is my first Julie G one and I will definitely be purchasing more of her polishes!

Ah yes, Johnny Depp! I absolutely love him! He is soooo gorgeous and an amazing actor! He takes on these crazy unique roles and does such a great job! I love all his movies especially movies he does with Tim Burton! :)

My Everyday Makeup Look & Day Fifteen!

Today I wanted to do a post about my everyday look. It all started when I was going to post a FOTD (face of the day) yesterday and realized since I started working my routine is the same so My Everyday Makeup Look post was born! Once school picks back up I will be doing some FOTD's because my makeup varies depending on my outfit, so I guess this is technically my everyday makeup look for work! Let's begin!

So let's start off with me saying that I do not wear foundation or concealer so we will get straight to my eyes.

On my whole lid under my shadow I have a white cream shadow as a base to make my colors pop and last all day. In the  inner corners of my eyes I am wear Cloud by Prestige. On my lid I have a grey from a The Color Workshop quad that I have (it was featured in my whats in my makeup bag post). On my outer corners and crease I am wearing a black also from my The Color Workshop quad. In my water line I am wearing a black eyeliner by The Color Workshop. To top it off I am wearing Wet N Wild megaprotien mascara on my lashes!

On my cheeks I am wearing an e.l.f. blush from their contouring blush and bronzing powder duo.

Lastly, on my lips I am wearing a Wet N Wild megalast lipstick in Bare it all (my new favorite!!!) , and a L'oreal HIP lip gloss in Honest on top.

This is pretty much what I wear to work! Quick and easy!

I'm sure you all guessed it! My cell phone! I have the T-Mobile G2X. Now a few months ago I would freak out if I would leave my phone at home, but lately I honestly think I could leave it home and it not even phase me. Although I always make sure to have my phone on me. You never know what could happen and you could end up really needing you cell phone.

Day Thirteen!

~ Your favorite musician and why ~

I can honestly say I have like 3 favorite bands lol, but I am going to do this post about Three Days Grace. I started listening to them in highschool when I started getting into that kind of music. So they were one of the first bands I was introduced to. I absolutely love them. I think the music is amazing and I can connect to it. I think it's great when someone can have a connection with the music they listen to and it means more to them than just being some song they like. That's how I feel with this band. Their music isn't just music for me, it's a connection. I love this band and I hope they come back with another cd!

imPRESS Press-On Pedicure Review!

While browsing the Walmart clearance section with my grandma last week, I stumbled upon this.

imPRESS press-on pedicure! If you are not familiar with this product they are press-on toe nails. When I saw them I thought that they were just so cute! Now I'm not going to lie I was very skeptical about the whole press-on nail thing. I just kept thinking of those cheap press-on nails from like middle school that never stayed on. But for just $3.00 I figured why not just give them a try! It comes with 24 toe nail covers in 12 sizes and is said to last up to a week. Each set also comes with a nail buffer and a prep pad. All the nails (aside from the big toe ones) have tabs on them with numbers ("size") which is helpful when you find a nail that fits your toe you can just grab the other one that has the same number. The tabs break clean off. No need for filing!

I must say I was very pleased with this product and I do recommend it! I purchased these on July 5th and I took them off tuesday the 10th. The adhesive that is used is very good and holds up well. I even went swimming with these on and that did not affect them at all.

The only time I seemed to have a problem was when I had work. I have to wear sneakers at work and I found that the pressure from the top of the sneakers on the toes caused a bit of discomfort. I think the nails probably could have lasted a few more days but I think because I had to wear sneakers for work it was causing the nails to start coming out of place. That little downfall doesn't bother me at all because I not going to put these on just to walk around in sneakers. Lol!

Now go get yourself some press-on toe nails!

• Body wash or soap? Soap. If I do use body wash it's for my eczema so no good smelling stuff :(
• Self tanners or natural? Natural! I don't need to tan :)

I absolutely love this place! Their food is delicious! Honestly I could go in there and just be content with eating salad and bread sticks! I love the dressing that they use in their salad.
